Qualification for prizes

For each team member to qualify for a PERSONAL pizza voucher from Pizza Hut, the team must produce a 3-page mini magazine that is designed on the original template published in the Star-NiE pullouts on Apr 7 and Apr 28. For each team member to qualify for a pizza upgrade, i.e. REGULAR voucher from Pizza Hut, each team must either: • Produce two 3-page mini magazines (of different topics) OR • (In addition to one 3-page mini magazine), produce a 3-minute video clip in the form of an advertisement, a Public Service Announcement or a message addressing the topic featured in the mini magazine. The clip must then be downloaded into a Compact Disc (with an original Form Battached to the cover) and submitted together with the mini magazine.

Video Clip Category

This year, we’re keeping this additional category for you to showcase your talent! Based on the topic addressed in your magazine, you and your team
members can earn a pizza upgrade by simply producing a three-minute video clip. Come up with an advertisement, or make a public service announcement on the same subject matter. Your video clip must be formatted on an MPEG file that is supported by Windows Media Player.

Each compact disc must contain one video clip only. Clearly label
your team’s particulars by using an original Form B.

Attach Form B onto your CD cover so that it looks like the jacket cover of your CD case.

Six iPods are up for grabs. However, this video clip category is optional. Qualification for the merit and grand prize awards depends solely on the mini-magazine category.

Points To Note

Work in groups of four or five team members. Each student can only be a member of one team. Each team can submit more than one entry, but only one entry will be eligible for the grand prize. You must submit a mini-magazine to earn a pizza voucher.
